Sprint training for Little Athletics

Learning the right running technique from a young age can be very beneficial to any young athlete. A bit like riding a push bike…. once you master the skill you never forget it!

Regular training of young athletes (6-10 years) can help them in many ways both on and off the sporting field:

  • Learning to follow instructions
  • Teaches them how consistant effort = results
  • Help improve confidence and self esteem
  • Meet new friends

Our training programs are suitable for all ages from 6 years.

Our warm up teaches athletes the importance of stretching our muscles and preparing our bodies for physcial activity.

Our specific drills help them with their balance and co-ordination – a crucial element in physical development no matter what sport they play.

We currently have a small group of athletes 10 years and under that thoroughly enjoy training of a Sunday morning.
