What a weekend of racing.
Near perfect conditions over the weekend, at Sydney Olympic Park for the 2020 NSW Open Championships.
On the Saturday Katie competed in the 100m, progressing nicely through the heats and semi final to make the final.
In the Final Katie placed 5th in a close competition.
Then on the Sunday Katie cruised through her 200m heat.
With 8 of us from the Squad cheering her on, we watched Katie cross the finish line in 1st place! 1st in the Open Women’s 200m.
Good luck at the Australian Championships in a few weeks Katie.
